Velocity Curve was founded by Vincent and Joanne. Having founded and run companies more than once, we know that operators often have to make the highest-leverage decisions for their companies and organisations with limited resources and an unclear outlook. From outsourcing to building software ourselves, from testing business models to finding market positioning, and then making technology genuinely serve commercial goals, we have walked this road more than once.

We have firsthand experience of the difficult decisions operators encounter along the way. We offer fractional CTO services because we have seen too many friends running businesses lose out simply because they lack a technical background: paying for something unusable, watching budgets grow until they have no choice but to walk away, or being sold features they never needed.

As the value of AI matures, more operators want to put it to work, yet struggle to decide when to introduce it, where it belongs, and how to make it fit existing workflows, culture, and people's expectations. Technical decisions are never just about choosing tools or deciding whom to hire to build. Every step shapes resource allocation and the options that remain. We want to work alongside operators and turn technology into the engine for their business's next ascent.

Full-stack engineer, with end-to-end experience across front-end development, back-end design and cloud deployment. Former CTO at a blockchain company, managing an engineering team of 25+; the smart contracts under that remit peaked at US$100M total value locked, with their security design rated excellent by a professional audit firm.
